Ludi is Jamaica's Ludo — rougher, faster, two dice.
- Born: roll a 6 to bring a man out of your yard onto your gate. The 6 is used up; the other die can move him on.
- Split di dice: each die moves one man — same man twice, or two different men.
- Six = roll again. Every 6 you throw earns one more roll.
- Cut: land exactly on a lone enemy man and him gone home — must born again. No safe stars out here.
- Block: two of your men on one square. Nobody can land on it, pass it, or cut it. Block a gate and dem lock out. Throw doubles and tap yuh block — both men march together.
- Heaven: exact count to bring each man home. Overshoot? That die can't move him.
- Win: all four men reach heaven first. In partners, you and your opposite play as one — finish first and you roll for your partner.
